Brainboxes’ PCMCIA cards create real COM ports within Windows.

This means that they will work with all applications.

Brainboxes PCMCIA cards are designed to take full advantage of this mobile processing

power. The majority of the range are based on Brainboxes’ high performance CF16C950+

chip. They have all the features of the high performance PCI cards, allowing you to use

your laptop as a true desktop replacement. Available as either RS232 or RS422/485

Velocity cards with speeds of up to 921,600 baud, they are ideal for anyone needing fast

access to serial data from their laptop.

Select either convenient removable cables or ruggedized cables that are permanently

attached. All cables terminate in industry standard 9 pin male ‘D’ connectors.
